Theodore sits on the ground, waiting for the bard to wake up from its sleep, the bard seems fine as he giggles while sleeping.
-Good chances he has been here a while... any information he has may prove crucial to our escape from this realm, obviously he is not an evil or cruel being, nothing evil ever passed out by looking at an azurite...oh...
The Bard slowly opens his eyes, stretching his arms as he struggles to get on a sitting position.
-Good morning!- Said the Azurite first, anxious for the first exchange of words since he left the prime.
-Wouldn't exactly call it morning.... but it isn't night either... a few years back I've made a song about this... called it the never ending "mornighting" which cleverly induces the word night in the word morning, which is the precise description of where we are, in Mornighting. - The bard turns to face the Azurite again, this time with a calm expression on his face, that despite the huge beard and hair, show that he is in fact a young person.
-So, my brilliant and creative mind sent me a midget for an imaginary friend this time? About time too, didn't care much for that angry lettuce figure... incredibly harsh it was. - The bard stands, and clumsily adjusts his worn out robes - So what will I call you? You look like a small butler, always wanted one of those, Theodore will be your name.
-...That is actually amazing... my name -is- Theodore.
-Of course it is! If you're going to be repeating every single thought I have I'll send you back to the deep ends of my mind along with that fat succubus that had a crush on me, and what are you anyway? Oh... I know... you'll be my butler of course, can't have a butler name and not live up to it!
-Actually, I'm not a figure of your imagination, I am a wizard... or better yet... I was a wizard... a long series of events left me trapped here, where I found you.
-An imaginary friend that talks back with an attitude? And claiming to be a miniature wizard?! You're on the right path to feel my righteous anger for this heresy!
-...Heresy? - Theodore was still sitting down, watching the bard move from one side to another in dramatic poses, stretching out his arm each time he reaches the end of a line.
-Fine, begone you, back to the pits of chaos and confusion that I call my soul, AVAST YE!- The bard closes his eyes, placing one hand over them while with the other he motions the Azurite to go away.
As the bard turns around to see that Theodore is still there, he takes a step back, slightly worried.
-Impossible... Never did I expect to see anything else here in all the years I've been stuck here... never... never ever ever ever...
-What is your name... what can you tell me of yourself and why you're here?- Theodore said, interrupting his "ever's".
-My name? Tough questions already to a poor troubled mind? curious fact: I repeated my name every day, over and over for years so I wouldn't forget, just in case anyone asked me.
-And it is...?
-I forgot.
A moment of silence, Theodore knew that this bard was brought into lunacy after countless years of living stranded in one place... but to forget one's name after years of repeating it... how long has this human been here?
-I didn't mean to forget it, it's just that some days I was so busy that I forgot to repeat it you see, completely understandable.
-Do you remember anything at all? Like how long you've been here?
-That one's easy, I've been here for as long as I can remember!
-And how far is that?
-A few weeks ago I guess...
-Anything else....?- Theodore says, slightly annoyed at his new companion, never liked bards much.
-Oh yes, my name started with a G... I'm sure of that....
-Well... we're going to be stuck here for a while, until I try and discover why and how... but I believe there is a way out. What about I call you "Gi"?
-Gi? Brilliant suggestion! And here I thought all wizards were dull and useless! you have the soul of a prophet and the eyes of an inventor! Aha! A great side kick for Gi the bard!
-First... we need to trace our steps... so we know we're not going in circles... and then.... -Theodore continues his chat with the bard, blurting out ideas of how to find themselves in that desert of nothingness, and trying to remember of what, how and why they were there.
