A good view of what is all that is contained is located at this post on the main forums, nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewcodepost.html?post=5625467A shorthand verison is: New Purple dragon Knight prestige class, 8 new tilesets, 15 new music tracks, 100 new creatures (including horses), new placeables (almost 350), new doors (15 generic +71 tileset specific), new visual effects (100+), new armor part apperances (thank god...), new scripting commands, and new bug fixes. The Tilesets are: Barrows Interior Castle Exterior, Rural Castle Interior 2 City Interior 2 Fort Interior Sea Caves (a hak pack is no longer required) Steamworks Tropical (a hak pack is no longer required) Creatures: Caladnei (NPC) Cobra (Regular, Black and Gold) Curst Swordsman Gem Golems (Diamond, Emerald and Ruby) G'Zhorb the All seeing Eye Halaster Harat, Lord of Darkness (Large and Small) Horses (63 Different variants, plus mounted Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Halflings, Gnomes, Half-Orcs and Dwarves) Lord Antoine Baccha, Visier de Guise (NPC) Maggris, the Hive Mother Masterius (Regular, Disguised and Powerful) Mist Dragon Nightmare (Regular, Saddled and Armored) Ogre Chieftain Purple Dragon Knight Archer (Female and Male) Purple Dragon Knight Blade (Female and Male) Satyr (Regular, Archer and Warrior) Wereboar Widow Hagatha Wyvern (Great, Adult, Juvenile and Young) And one of the numerous features that seem very cool, at least o me, "New Armor Part Appearances (lots)."

Another reminder, this patch is still in beta! So use at your own risk, module is currently not updating due to being a beta patch, unless otherwise noted by Dia.

Wow, I'm impressed. I like that they're actually still updating NWN.

The horses apperently are glitched to hell and back. According to some of the designers on Amia, the server I currently play on, when you see a player on them in multiplayer it causes your computer to reset. I believe this is because they use such a high polygon count and cause such extreme lag.
Apperently the Ride skill is glitched quite badly as well, so paladins get another badly glitched skill to add to there list.
On the plus side, they also get the ability to crash players. Sounds like a good trade heh.

Well the patch notes do mention about the fix, so perhaps it'll be fixed once it goes live. If not, we simply don't use.
But yes, fair trade nonetheless. Use to want to do that to a few specific servers back in the day...

Since Bioware itself never added any patches that made the game heavier or that in any way abuse the NWN engine (haks did), I don't quite see that of being possible.
Also because the new patch doesn't seem to have ridable mounts, it has ALREADY mounted horses by what I could read, similar to the Worg and Spider riders the goblins had on CEP.
And even if it perhaps did have glitches, I believe that is why they are beta testing, they already fixed allot of stuff and bugs so until the work is done there is no reason to speak badly of it.

No. Rideable mounts are avaliable. They are applied as an extremely large tail on the end of the model.
So its true...you do have a big ass.
