*over the years Ein, himself being a lvl 26 Human fighter/weapon master/chosen|divine champ, would meet many famous adventurers, heroes, legendary folk, monsters, and the likes – I just do not like naming them, so use your imaginations*
Ein's Journey over the last 91+ years[/size]
1390 – After receiving a severe injury to his right leg in his battle with the God Emperor Ensis, Ein returns to Fenix with Tolinar's and his own brother Reid's remains to both nurse his wounds and lay his friend to rest. After returning Tolinar to his brother Kelinus, and the ceremony to put him and Reid to rest, Ein takes a brief journey to the Abbey of the Sword to seek if the Tempuran clerics there would be able to heal his damaged leg. Learning there was no cure short of cutting it off and regrowing it with a powerful regeneration spell, being sort of attached to his left, Ein returns to Fenix. Returning to his duties at Fenix, Ein begins to gather resources and call in specific favors from contacts about Faerûn. By year's end Ein has commissioned a new armor piece from Bognar using many of these collected resources.
1391 – The reconstruction of Old Haven begins early within the year, Ein assisting with some of the work despite his damaged leg. It isn't until spring that Bognar has finished with Ein's order. As with most Bognar creates, this armor piece is beyond words, it is among his masterpieces. The order is a heavy leg plate for Ein's right leg – it was designed to be fairly light enough and able to give, for bending, but made strong to absorb blows and give Ein the extra support he needs for semi-normal movement. It would take Ein the rest of the year to get use to the additional weight and learn how to adjust his moments accordingly. He earns many nicknames, the kobolds call the sound of his walking the Dragon's Roar, or “rar” as they put it, as it seems to echo strangely within the Hold.
1392-1393 – Ein continues to learn how to adjust to this new leg plate, including remastering many combative techniques. He quickly learns is unable to cover ground as swiftly as he once could and cannot nearly as quickly avoid blows but with time and training, he is able to regain some of his lost speed. He reopens his small dojo and begins to train others again between his busy schedule at Fenix and personal training.
1394 – It is not too far within the year when NAM begins to establish a base within Fenmyr. Ein briefly visits the site and the ruins of Verzhul before returning to Faerûn and his busy schedule. Near the middle of the year, the Drow house of Arken'Ana launches a major attack on Hilya Fort damaging it heavily but are repelled by a combined force lead by Amendil and Ein. Ein's house is burnt down, killing several inside, by students from the nearby school, they turn out to be Banites. By year's end, Ein has a new house where his half-brother Yuri continues to live as well.
1395 – 1400 – Ein comforts the people who lost family when the portal to Fenmyr ceases to operate. Over the five years, he deals with the common day to day life of a political ruler and a Tempuran without a battle to fight. It is during this time, he begins to feel unsettling urges to battle and can sense fights to a small degree within the region of NAM. He begins to think he is going insane, until Ein spoke with Rain and learned some troubling truths. Fearing he may inevitably cause a war to appease this urge he steps down as a leader of NAM, leaving it to Kelinus to rule, promising to return one day and leaves on a journey to “find himself.” He is drawn south toward the Dales.
1401-1408 – After arriving in the Dales, he learn the peace treaty they had with the Keep has been resolved. Slowly he travels across the Dales, aiding them in their battles against the Zhents until he reaches Shadowdale. Meeting many famous adventurers, heroes, and mysterious folk on his way. There, along with the Griffon Riders who once assisted the township of Haven, he fights with them against the Zhents until they are repelled. Having felt a debt paid, he continues his journey. In 1408, Ein turned fifty, though he notes he hasn't aged in at least ten years.
1409-1435 – Seeking an answer to why he hasn't aged, Ein calls upon an old ally, the Chronomancer. Here he learns, by some twist of fate, he has been granted a touch of divine and has ceased to age and is possibly immortal. With this knowledge, Ein begins a dangerous journey across the planes thanks to his Beblith amulet crafted many years ago by the Archwizard Prance. He travels to Sigil for a time, there learning much about the Lady of Pain and many other tidbits of lore, while in Sigil he also returns to the spot where he felled the great Balor whose skull he wears and offers some words to the fallen. Having spent enough time there, he travels briefly to the Astral plane where he seeks out a githyanki swordmaster to truly test his skills. The battle is hard, far harder than many others Ein has ever faced from another Humanoid, in the end Ein's experience permits him defeat his foe and obtain the gith silver sword he has sought for years. After the battle, he traveled some more of the god-isles for a short time, avoiding Tu'narath, until a dozen or so githyanki began to hunt him down to have him visit the lich queen Vlaakith CLVII. Ein having heard bad things about her, such as the fact she likes to drain those who might be able to defeat her and use their energy to try to drain a dead god. So he decided to escape to another plane. His next several stops would be various planes of little importance, but much wonder until he finally decided it was time to return to the Prime. Once back on the Prime, he learns he has been gone for twenty-six years.
1436 – Ein heads north toward Cormyr, where he obtains a short lived job of being a hired sword for a Cyricist hunt by the Purple Dragon Knights. Another group of the knights manage to capture and execute the leader while obtaining the stolen relics, while Ein's group, gets a messier end of the deal and battle through a sect of the Cyricist while the relics are sent back west. After settling up and dealing with other business in the region, Ein began to write letters to Waterdeep in effort to obtain permission to view relics. Disappointed by the response, “If you wish to see them, you can request permission once here,” he rests awhile, debating his options. Though in the end, curious as to what exactly they found, Ein begins to head toward Waterdeep.
1437-1459 – Following the relics back to Waterdeep, Ein manages to obtain permission to view them. Ancient magical relics of the fallen empire of the Netherese, quite valuable stuff, after getting enough to see and spending a little bit of time in the City of Splendor. He heads down the Sword Coast with the goal of reaching his mother's estate in Athkatla, Amn. He decides to take a ship from near Daggerford to Baldur's Gate, everything goes fine until he nears the island of Orlumbor, that is when a large kraken comes thrashing out of the water sending his small ship sinking down. Everything goes black as Ein loses conscientiousness, he feels his body sinking and than nothing for what seems forever, he is in a darkness thinking he is dead but having died before he is a little confused. Eventually he comes to with sand in his mouth, armor, and other unpleasant places. Bewildered and lost, Ein with only what he managed to sink with, begins to wander, he is able to find a road marker saying, “The Trade Way,” so he begins to head south on it. After a night to dry off and rest, he arrives the next day in Baldur's Gate. After a few days of food, rest, and enjoying the city he continues on south toward Amn. Some tendays later, he arrives in Candlekeep, using a book he bought in Waterdeep as entry fee, he enters the grand library. Here he would do various research, including on the year of 1358 DR, his birth year. Though his findings were inconclusive and likely never would be able to find out the truth, he finds various connections between Roman and the Bhaalspawn, almost suggesting Roman, himself, is one. Intrigued but unable to continue, Ein makes a few copies of a selected number of books and continues his way to Amn. His journey is mostly uneventful, save some bandits and lesser monsters, and arrives in Amn by the end of 1445. He would spend five years in his mother's estate, earning a living as a merchant until the strange call to battle began to affect him again, as with Fenix, he packed up fearing the worse and left the city to head east once more.
1460-1465 – Having began travel east once more, while passing through the Western Heartlands, news of the Drow invasion of Everaska reaches him and he begins to head toward the Elven stronghold. Upon arriving he is met with by other Tempurans who had came from various areas nearby to lend a hand, this group calling themselves briefly, “The Twelve,” joined alongside others who came to help and the Elves who were already engaged in the battle. For two long years, Ein would fight alongside “The Twelve,” and many others only to see the great city overran by the Drow. Forced to pull back, “The Twelve,” decided to remain in the region to protect the local villages and cities from Drow raids projected outward from Everaska. It would be the fall of 1463 when the news of the Dales being conquered would reach them, several of “The Twelve” left and returned to the Dales in effort to fight against the Zhents, leaving four of the twelve behind, Ein being one of them. Eager to go to the aid of the Dales, Ein was about to leave with a promise to return as soon as he could but was talked into staying to assist. So he remained there for three more years, annoyed at the lack of counterstrikes by the Elves he was tempted to learn when the Elven Warbands began to arrive en mass, it was not long before the assaults once more begin against the held city. The city was freed finally from the Drow, Ein having spent enough time near Everaska began a long journey back to Fenix.
1466-1469 – As Ein began to cross into the Dales once more, he was once again caught in the middle of the Zhent/Dale wars. Assisting the Dalefolk as he made his way, he entered the region of Battledale and joined fellow Tempuran in repelling attacks on Essembra, once again stopping at the Abby of the Sword, this time for blood offering to Tempus and blessings before his journey north. By the time Ein would obtain a ship to cross the Moonsea, past Summerdale and back into NAM, he had seen many soldiers dressed in the NAM colors arriving from the north to assist the Dalefolk. Though it would be year's end when he would arrive in NAM, by than the Dales were freed but still at war with the Zhents as likely was NAM.
1470-1480 – It has been seventy years since Ein last was in NAM, having not aged a day meant little, very few were even alive who would remember him. Some of the Dwarves, Elves, and “special” folk would but all his Human friends likely had been long dead by now. A little sad by this, he went about seeking out friends who may still be alive. He found Kelinus busy as ever, but happy to see him, and told him of how much has changed, including some fellow founding a knighthood within Fenix, the Azure Drake. Ein then went to visit the graves of his kin, grandkin, and friends. Though Ein was overjoyed to learn Bognar was still alive, especially since he needed adjustments to his leg plate, and was able to spend some time with that old Dwarf. Drank some Greenfire for the first time in sixty or so years as well, though much reminded him of the past and it was becoming too much for him. So once the gateway reopened, Ein did not hesitate to travel through.
1481-? - Ein was last seen traveling various locations within Fenmyr, most notably the Deadlands. Adorned in his Balor skull helm, his black dragon bone armor, his warded shield, his swords – the Fang's Bane and his Oniryukain blade, a longbow, and enough supplies, much of it dried, to last several years. Some think he went off and formed a small settlement out there, others think he is a wanderer seeking any worthy of a fight, while others believe he is just dead. No one knows for sure.
