First Entry..
I don't remember the date today, so, I'll have to write it in later.
I've written a journal before, the journal before the accident on the Marauder EXS. The pages were lost to the sea when the King of the Sea destroyed my vessel. I was 32. I wonder though, was it something more that caused that incident to occur? When I think back on it, no one seems to remember the Marauder. Not even the military.. an accident six years ago that's not very well documented. No mention of me in anyone's journals .. yet parts of my Crew still live. I must find them, and I must discover what happened all those years ago. I have to find out whether this is my imagination, or whether it isn't. I must find Otoma, Cecil, Ishida, and The Cid if I can..
Regardless, I have succeeded in forming the Fellowship of the Red Dawn. Though I would consider myself the founder, I am likely not to be considered the leader. That job would belong to Crow, the amount of work he puts into the contracts we receive, the taxes we pay ... and everything involving our money is phenomenal. Crow is certainly not someone we could do without in the Red Dawn.
Speaking of taxes, Mutt and I bought an Airship from the Pheric Military .. for twenty thousand. The deal was that we would do work for them from time to time when requested. Not to mention they were just going to trash it anyhow. I dubbed the airshp the Red Foehammer.. we're going to paint it red eventually. I eventually landed it inside of the Compound of the Red Dawn for safe keeping .. the lake was much larger then I thought and actually landed within it perfectly.
Well, if this is my first entry, I should probably put in my acquaintances here in New Pherin..
Crow - I know that's not his full name, but it's what I call him. I met Crow in the tavern in New Pherin first, and I didn't exactly trust him to be blunt. He seemed shifty, but I began to trust him as I worked with him and talked with him more and more. He was the one I spoke with first in regards to forming the Red Dawn, and he's likely the most invaluable member to the group that I could have. Recently though, he has been acting strangely after his transformation to a Vosauho.. he even bit me. I wonder if that transformation for him is more then just physical..
Highwind - His name is Marcus Highwind, I simply call him Highwind. He was my first true friend here in Pherin, and he was also the first person I could trust here. There are no surprises when it comes to Highwind, I always know what he's going to do, and I know that I can count on him. He was the third member to the Red Dawn, and he is certainly someone that I can put a great deal of faith in. However, he has been a little more violent lately then usual, and I wonder what path he is following at times..
Larian - She's an interesting girl I think. The others complain that she's too greedy, and sometimes I agree, but other times I think they're just being harsh to her. She can be nice at times, and unfriendly at others, but everyone is like that sometimes. She's .. a Mage however, without a license.. and it is dangerous for her to even exist right now. I will not turn her in, because she is my friend .. but if they come for her, there is nothing I can do. I will not make an enemy of the government.
Ghost - I don't have much to say about him. Other then he's a drug fiend, a womanizer, insane .. and I suspect he is a killer. Yet, he did rescue me that one time, and I cannot fault him. I do owe him a favor in that.. and I will repay it.
Mutt - What can I say about Mutt? He's a womanizer as well, and a thief. Yet, I cannot bring myself to chastise him for it. He's.. very friendly, to say the least. Mutt I consider a friend, yet, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
Derek - I am uncertain of him. I am distrustful of the Mage.. but he has yet to do anything for me to openly admit it. So, I will give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being. I wonder what his ties to the Black Blood are, however.
That is not an entirely thorough analysis of everything going on, but I am tired and must rest. This will have to do for now.
