A group of adventurers currently operating in Kiran are responsible for the recent capture of known pirates. These pirates, part of the criminal organization known as the 'White Snakes', were wanted for slavery, drug trafficking, and murder. The adventurers included a Snowroc barbarian, one of Rosca's Ring, a Wandering Bulwark, and two Faerunian women.
The group had been seeking passage to the island of Szragil when they were ambushed and captured by the pirates. After being taken on board the orc Lothar quickly broke free of his bonds, though he was quickly put down by the foreman. After the foreman went topside, the Bulwark known as Lancer also broke his chains and waited for an opportunity to strike the foreman. In the mean time, Blastro also attempted to free herself though only ended up hurting her wrists. When the foreman returned and prepared to whip her for not rowing, the Bulwark snapped his neck with a blow from his oar. Shortly afterwards the 'slaves' were all free and prepared to retake the ship. After dealing with all the crew and finding some arms, the group was attacked by the ship's captain (identified by his hat, now in the possession of Roffo Balthazar.) He quickly cut a path through most of the slaves but was brought down by the only six survivors.
Along with the adventurers, a former member of the Pheric Navy was the only survivor and set course back for the Fjords of Kira. Upon arrival the legion was informed of the events and the ship was searched and bodies disposed of. By Pheric law the ship now belongs to those responsible for the capture of the pirate's ship.
