Falling Silver – Something that should be a good thing, New Pherin attacked by Ghostly Cloaked Airships!
Late in the evening on the twelfth of Alturiak in the fourteenth thousand and ninety-first year of Fenmyr, the sky above the vast Sillilnyme Forest grew bright with streaks of falling silver light. These strange lights seemed to be similar to falling stars but there are no reported impacts of any in the forest, and they were clearly visible to those as far north as Ivelfrost. Throughout most of Fenmyr there are reports of certain individuals suffering from strong emotional pain at the sight of these lights, this has lead scholars from Veluan to suspect these lights were ill-omens and should be taken as a sign of horrible things yet to come. No government has taken “credit” for the lights.
Those watching the lights quickly were forced to confirm the idea of horrible things to come as four strangely cloaked Queendom airships flew toward the unexpecting city of New Pherin following the falling silver streaks, causing widespread panic in its western gate population while the city guard scrambled to mount a defense. It is known Councilor Blake was present and assisting in the defensive operation while members of the Delta Squad who were present assisted with airship operations to give time for the Red Wings to fly from combat operations in the east. These cloaked ships seemingly could not be harmed at first due to some sort of strange enchantment and were lowering Weigris and Bugbear mercenaries, though once a large enough of these enemy troops were off, the ships began tangible and could be dealt with. Eventually all four enemy ships were taken down with minimal civilian causalities.
While it is apparent these would-be invaders used Queendom made airships, documents and other clues indicate another force behind these attackers. A man called Wesker Tangul or Wesker Whitestar but more familiarly known as the Witch King of the Council of Kilotharni, Lord of the Pandemonium Harbingers is thought to be the one ordering these attacks. Though many questions remain unanswered, such as why and how would this Witch King have access to these airships without anyone noticing? Is the Queendom in league with the Witch King?
More to come as it comes...
