Pyon (Former Greater Diety) The Red Sun, Lord of Dawn Symbol: A red sun with a morningstar in the center Alignment: Lawful Good Portfolio: The Sun, Duty, Renewal, Justice Domains: Law, Good, Sun, Protection Favored Weapon: "Solaris" (Morningstar)
Pyon (Pie-yon) was the original sun god worshipped in Fenmyr since it's creation. He was described as being kind-hearted, yet rather stern. Extremely harsh towards his enemies, but ever patient with his allies and followers. Unlike Adonis, his protege, he was never depicted as having wings, nor did he speak to his followers in the form of a bird. Instead, he often chose to show himself as a simple human wearing orange and red robes, carrying a morningstar, or as a being of flame.
The church of Pyon was likely the first established religion in the ancient kingdoms, going as far back as when civilization was found. Most writings detailing his church have been lost, however, and what little has survived of the memory of his religion are kept by the church of Adonis. Aside from encouraging education or all people and bringing peace, his church also celebrated things such as athleticism, renewal, and, before the rise of Adonis, justice. Pyon also had a devout sect of undead and lycanthrope hunters.
Since so much lore and knowledge about the church of Pyon has been lost due to the Ark of Quain disastor from years past, it is not known how clerics spread the faith, what classes they could multiclass in, or what holidays were celebrated. Though it is likely very similar to Adonis' current religion.
History/Relationships: From what little can read from books kept in Adonian libraries, it can be said that Pyon was one of the first dieties to come into existence. Sanctified by The Unnamed One himself, Pyon immediately began to build himself a power base in the older civilizations of Fenmyr. After Genarml's rise to power, and Genarml's granting Fiangon demi-dietyhood, Pyon seen it fit to elevate his greatest champion in the same way. By giving Adonis the Portfolio of Justice. After Genarml had gained far more power than should be allowed by even the gods, Pyon was originally chosen to slay the Demon God. However, his attempt to destroy Genarml had failed, and Pyon was mortally wounded. Knowing that his death was near, he had given all of his powers to Adonis, then passed on to the Astral.
Dogma: The Sun governs the land, as without the sun the land cannot grow. It is the same as justice, as without justice, society cannot grow. Honor the sun as it is the giver of life to the world, without it, few things would exist.

Genarml (Dead Elder God/Lesser Overgod) The Darkness, Emperor of the Fellbeasts, Remnant God, Demon King, Dark Lord Symbol: A field of darkness overtaking a humanoid heart Alignment: Evil (Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic) Portfolio: Evil, Darkness, Akumi'da Domains: N/A (Doesn't grant spells) Favored Weapon: “The Void” (Greataxe)
Genarml ('jen'ärm&l) is a hated and feared Elder God who had ruled the darkness since before the creation of time, back in the void, the everlasting darkness. Such pristine times are long gone, but Genarml still remains, even in his shattered form. The loathsome and dark taint hints at the presence of his blackened soul, his physical form is that of a massive humanoid like being wearing rust covered obsidian-steel armor, complete with a tattered crimson and black cloak, with a large fanged helmet – wielding his flared-headed greataxe, completing his intimidating presence.
The faith of Genarml has never been mainstream, always hunted down by the various faithfuls of “good” deities such as Adonis and his predecessor Pyon, and has been fragmented into various cults that worship one of his three aspects – Emperor of Fellbeasts (The Cult of Genarml/Pandemonium Harbingers/Lawful Evil), The Darkness (Akumi'da/Neutral Evil), and Demon King (The Cult of Genarml/Chaotic Evil). Each of his aspects are independent of one another in terms of how they operate and spread the faith, however, often the three aspects intersect in memberships – a Cult of Genarml leader is normally of the Emperor of Fellbeasts grouping while the Cult is normally considered of the Demon King. Whichever group they belong to, the spreading of the “faith” is done often through shows of force or other more subtle evils, these acts of evil are done in order to generate a percentage of energy that is required to resurrect Genarml as the ultimate goal of the tri-aspects is the resurrection of Genarml, so he may once more bring fear and darkness to Fenmyr – though each group has their own reasons for this.
The clergy of the cults prayer normally in the darkness of night in order to attempt to contact their dark lord. His clergy, on certain moonless nights may take a solution called Tosin, and enter a trance in order to speak with the Darkness. Usually this “honor” is reserved for the elder clergy who have faithfully served Genarml since joining the cults. There are no holy days in the cults of Genarml, though there is the Day of Souls, where once a year a three lives must be offered up to him, per faithful, or his wrath will be felt by those of his faithful that have failed to do this task – this day is not set and is often determined by the cult leaders, though normally it falls within the winter months.
History/Relationships:
Genarml is said to be born forth from the darkness that existed in the void prior to the coming of the Unnamed One who created the world, sun, and moon. Genarml was outmatched by the power of this Overgod, and soon fell submissively to the Unnamed One's might, yet the Dark Lord still controlled not only the darkness but evil. Soon life came to exist on this world, Toril, and so did the reaches of the Demon King – he tainted many of the hearts of those living upon the surface. Soon, war and other “evils” sprung up and destroyed much of the Unnamed One's work. Angered and tired of Genarml's interference he destroyed his creation and started anew but only after sealing Genarml into the darkness, allowing him only to become present when no light was present.
However, Genarml, once more proved to be resourceful and managed to not only exploit this darkness rule but also create his own race of beings, the Akumi'da. These Akumi'da, are a race of Humanoid beings that at anytime may revert to their true forms, a fiendish being of great and immense power that enjoyed playing cruel jokes and games in addition to spreading Genarml's influence through violence, greed, and other “evils” as well as serve as his footsoldiers. In secret, Genarml, raised his beings in the darkness and producing them a massive island to call home, Voitran, where a pitch black steel tower was being erected to pierce the heavens and link Genarml physically with his children, in response he would often pull beings from the outerplanes to help as slaves.
Even this plan of Genarml would fail, as the dark steel tower began to reflect the moonlight, catching the attention of the Unnamed One. In a show of immense power that even put fear into Genarml, the Unnamed One sunk and destroyed Voitran destroying most likely all but a handful of Akumi'da in the process – the death thralls of destroyed Akumi'da are said to had been so loud that it caused absolute silence in all creation for years. The howled winds of the Deadlands are said to be the remnants of their thralls.
These tribulations would continue for aeons until the Unnamed One shattered Genarml's essence using the combined powers of the sun and moon to shine the greatest of light into the darkness of which was Genarml's soul. Falling to the world below, Genarml's remains were gathered by the fellbeasts that scavenged the surface of portions of Fenmyr. Fearing his return, the Unnamed One populated the lands of Fenmyr with the first of his children, the dragonkin. Over the centuries, however, the few Akumi'da of the sunken Voitran, had recovered to a degree and were behind his resurrection. The Dragonkin and their eventual successors would continue the wars against the Akumi'da, though not all without succumbed to the temptations of the darkness.
Soon the various cults of the Dark Lord began to form, the Akumi'da succeeding in their mission in collecting the remains and using the fell magic of Genarml, they managed to resurrect the Demon King, Genarml back into the world. Quickly assuming his prior post, he drew upon the evils of the world and launched a horrid crusade against the children of the Unnamed One, this epochal moment brought the Golden Slumber to an end.
As this seemingly endless crusade against “good” continued throughout the ages, Genarml avoided the wrath of the Unnamed One by giving the Unnamed One's children a “chance.” This chance, which Genarml would later regret, was two months a year that no war would take place – before and after the new year. Though Genarml took advantage of this time as well, training his Protégé, Fiangon into a being of respectable evil and power. An important lesson Genarml forced into Fiangon was that death could never be truly the end to him, as long as his essence could be reformed or even rebuilt by the dark hearts of the children of the Unnamed One, he would always return.
Once more Genarml would be destroyed, but this time it would be at the hands of Adonis, following the destruction of the deity Pyon. In an epic battle, that took place in place untouched by mortals, the two dealt punishing blows against one another – Adonis, normally would had no chance against the might of Genarml but the old deity was weaker than he once was and Adonis was just recently infused with the essence of Pyon. This edge gave Adonis all he needed to win, slaying the Dark Lord and sending his essence once more to the face of Toril, upon the lands of Fenmyr. Fiangon leap forth to finish the weakened Adonis off, but the Unnamed One intervened and spared Adonis for his actions. Fiangon, unable to do much there, fled to Fenmyr to begin the search for his master's remains once more.
The Cults began to become more violent and active during this period, in effort to find the remains of their fallen Dark Lord. Fiangon promising great power and riches to any who could find the remains, many of the cult member would end up becoming terribly powerful beings during this period. However, most of Genarml was found by a man named Quain Dracheklinge. Unknown to Quain, these black shards he gathered would be the seeds of his children's nightmares – Quain used the power these strange shards gave him to forge the greatest empire known to the Fenmyrians, the Empire of Sol, an empire that worshiped and did honor upon Adonis. An empire spanning from coast to coast, and from the northern sea to the very edge of the great Shadowluren, so many souls populating this region that many fell between the cracks of their faiths and into the hands of the Dark Lord. When it came time to bury Quain within the legendary Ark, a large pyramid like temple made of gold that floats high above the guard and anchored by tree-trunk thick chains, the black shards were placed within his chamber.
Unable to obtain the shards directly, Fiangon decided to use this golden temple as a conduit to access the shards and free his master. This was done through a collection of battles, murders, and other similar actions by the deities in league with Fiangon – eventually this forced the Solians into war against his minions, just as according to his plans. During this battle, the final energies were transferred and Genarml was reborn, appearing in a burst of dark energies that tainted the land of Fenmyr, though these were pathetic compared to those released when Ensis Trandan, a holy knight of Adonis, managed to slay the Demon King using the sword Ryado with the assistance of mages. Upon the destruction of the body, an unmeasurable amount of energy ushered forth, if it were not for the mages present all who fought would had died as they managed to teleport everyone away. Though this would do little to help those who couldn't flee, with the release of this energy, the Ark conducted the energy straight down into Fenmyr instantly killing a large amount of land and causing the Larberius Mountains to form while causing fault lines to rupture causing portions of Fenmyr to fall into the ocean or become isolated from the mainland. The energy that was forced elsewhere, polluted the land, air, and life of Fenmyr – forever altering them in various ways. When it was all over, Fenmyr hardly resembled itself and most of Fenmyr's cultures (Human, Elves, Gnomes, and Dwarves) were set back several centuries as much was lost.
Seeing this as only as simply a failed attempt, Fiangon went back to plotting how to ensure another chance and succeed this time. Though Ensis Trandan, would become the God Emperor of Arbon over the next several hundred years and rule with justly until even he began to look toward the darkness for additional power. This is when Fiangon slowly corrupted the God Emperor and through him gathered terrible amounts of energy that would be used to formulate the resurrection of Genarml once more. This went smoothly until the God Emperor Ensis was slain in the war against the Northern Alliance of the Moonsea and Jaia in 1390 DR. This premature death forced all of Fiangon's plans to backfire as the Ark could not store the sudden influx of the energy gathered from the fallen Ensis and an eruption of power was released. Damaging though hardly to the degree that the original Ark incident dealt to Fenmyr, all of the energy was spent once more, now once again Fiangon and those in league with him gather the energies once more as well as the black shards that went missing following the death of the new-born Genarml in 0 DR.
Small note, this is -NOT KNOWN BY ANYONE ICly-. It is here just for the sake of it. If someone wants to edit the grammar mistakes and what not, send it to my PM and I'll edit the post later.

Apollyon (Former Intermediate Diety) Lord of the Ilmnfeml, Harbinger of Sorrow Symbol: A six-point star with an eye in the center Alignment: Chaotic Evil Portfolios: The Ilmnfeml, Demonic Magic, Cruelty, Torture, Desecration, Genocide Domains: Evil, Demonic, Chaos, Magic, Corruption Favored Weapon: "Entropic Defiler" (Katana)
Apollyon (Ah-pol-lee-on) was the patron god of the Ilmnfeml. He was known for his fondness of torture, and of corrupting those of pure hearts. He appeared as an unnaturally tall and muscular elf with horns and wings, clad in black studded leather while carrying his favored Katana and a thorned scourge.
His clerics were known for their skill at torture and skill in the dark arts. They were also very persuasive and cunning, and were sometimes known to disguise themselves in order to infiltrate enemy churches in order to corrupt them to worship of Apollyon. Apollyon was very fond of desecrating holy sites and artifacts. Several powerful artifacts, such as the Black Magic Ravager, were once holy weapons dedicated to Adonis. Paladins were favored targets of his clerics. The best way to describe his worshippers was, "Controlled Chaos". For no other race demonstrated the sheer terror of what a unified force of people fully dedicated to chaos and evil better than the Ilmnfeml.
Holidays celebrated in Apollyon's name varied depending on the Ilmnfeml clan, but they almost always were decadent, dabauched affairs that involved public torture, sacrifce, orgies, and communing with demons.
Clerics could multiclass as sorcerers, warlocks, blackguards, demonologists, and Black Harbingers.
History/Relationships: Originally a demon prince in the Abyss, Apollyon saw a chance to do what few others of his kind had done by siphoning power from the dead overgod, Genarml. He realized that in order to maintain his power, he'd need worshippers, as well. He found the ideal candidates in the elves that were mostly disillusioned with elven society as a whole. This was unfortunately not enough. Unknown to most of Fenmyr, Apollyon had secretly installed agents in the various cults of Genarml worshippers to help him better siphon this energy. Also, these agents would work to sabotage any of the cultists efforts in bringing more power to their god. In doing this, Genarml was weakened and unable to fully reform. This resulted in the ultimate fruitation of Apollyon's plans. Genarml was slain, and many of the elves were corrupted by the release of the energies. Many of the energies released were directed by Apollyon for that purpose. With his newfound power, and with his new, "Children", he was able to abandon his plans of subtle corruption of the Genarml cults, and openly oppose them, along with the rest of his enemies. Seeing the power of his worshippers, the other elven races started launching crusades that last to this day. Bringing much death and devastation to all areas of Fenmyr. Fortunately for all the good races of Fenmyr, Apollyon had risen in power too fast, and had earned the wrath of Fiangon and his allies and his arrogance would eventually get the better of him. As he soon believed himself to be invincible and he soon believed that he could achieve his goal of genocide of all other races on Fenmyr. From there, begin his even bigger plan: To draw a full world into the Abyss, and fuel his ascension to an even more powerful diety. But as the crusades raged, they eventually drew in the other nations of Fenmyr. Most notably, Pherin. Resulting in the Ilmnfemlian Conflict. The combined might of Pherin and their allies were able to push back the Ilmnfeml, but not enough to full anihilate them. As a result, the Elven Crusades still rage on. But on a much smaller scale. As for Apollyon, Fiangon had finally cornered the demonic god and slain him. As Apollyon died, his essence fell to the Ark, and gave power to Genarml. While this may have ended the Ilmnfemlian conflict, this has only fueled the ascension of an even greater evil.
Dogma: Death, torture, pain, and corruption. These are Apollyon's gift. Revere him in all his mighty power, and he will bring death to all your enemies. Kill all that are not worthy of his grace, but, if possible, seduce, trick, and corrupt. If they can be brought to his darkness, all the better. Never tire in your efforts to eliminate the inferior races from this world. For if you are found to not be worthy, you will offer yourself as sacrifice.

Caltrus (Lesser Deity) Scion of Murder, Crimson Shadow Symbol: A silver cobra Alignment: Neutral Evil Portfolio: Assassins, Murder, Trickery, Darkness Domains: Darkness, Trickery, Evil, Death Favored Weapon: Bloodletter (Katar) When the first humanoids were made, they had come into a world intended to be a paradise, however, some beings would not allow that to be. Caltrus (Kal-truss) was spawned from when one of those first mortals murdered his brother. It is not known why this happened, but Caltrus came into being as a result. Caltrus was often believed to be a cold, calculating god who always had extensive and labyrinthine plans. He was depicted as humanoid being with red skin and black armor, with a katar on his belt and a cobra in his hands.
The church of Caltrus was typically a well-funded, but constantly prone to infighting. Having ties with multiple criminal organizations, and even having followers in well-placed political positions, the churches and crime families would often compete for his favor through extensive networks, most often involving contract murder.
His clerics were more like crime lords than holy men hiding in temples and buried in books. The most effective way they would spread their religion was actually through "Puppet churches". Churches disguised as more tolerated dieties, while only the elite members would know the true intention of the church.
History/Relationships: While the legends say that Caltrus came into being when one of the first humans commited murder, in likelihood, he was already in existence. As a very minor death god who had not yet found a true calling, he had become more malicious in a search for power. He had found it by claiming the title of the God of Murder.
His relationships with the other dieties was rather strained, especially with the Goddess of Thievery, Krasia. Krasia had always wanted to take Caltrus' portfolio, but has never been able to, especially since the new god of murder is far stronger than his predecessor.
Dogma: Like all things, even life has a price. Mercy, justice, and vengeance are merely services to be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Care not for the lives you take, for they are only yet another resource to be consumed.

Zuian (Greater Power) Azathule Symbol: Alignment:Chaotic Evil Portfolio: Destruction and Turmoil Domains: Evil, Destruction, Chaos, Fire Favored Weapon: Path of Ruin (heavy flail)
Zuian was the god of destruction before Fiangon. He was often referred to by his followers as his original name, "Azathule". He was described as being an irrationally destructive being that was especially fond of fire, possibly due to his origins. He was depicted as a bipedal, lithe humanoid being with an alien appearance, his mouth and hair are a wild mass of tendrils, his neck is unnaturally long and muscular, he is always wreathed in flame, and his skin is made of black, molten iron.
Followers of Zuian were more likely to be mages concerned with gathering destructive power than even clerics. However, his clerics were extremely dangerous forces of random destruction. They would often even go as far as to completely forsake healing spells for better destructive ones. It was even believed that his clerics possessed means of destruction far beyond that of most other servants of the divine. Something Fiangon's followers have been trying desperately to recreate.
History/Relationships: Zuian's origin is unique and singular compared to the other gods. When Genarml had sought so flee the Unnamed One's wrath in the great void of the universe, the Unnamed One sought to drive him further from his creations by making the stars. Some of them had managed to gain sentience. One of these was a destructive and ravaging star named Azathule. While some stars sought to nurture life with the worlds that circled them, Azathule burned his very life out destroying them. Reaching the end of his existence all too quickly, Genarml had sensed Azathule's rage and hatred towards the Unnamed One and made him an offer. Using his unholy power, Genarml made Azathule into a god, giving him a form and a purpose, he was reincarnated as Zuian. However, this power did not bring sanity or stability. As the centuries passed, Zuian would become less stable of mind to the point that Genarml had decided to seek a new champion. Which he found in Fiangon. Zuian's madness had caused him to abandon his followers, which made him lose much power. Fiangon had little trouble aquiring Zuian's portfolio, as the star god was now wanting to end his existence. Fiangon simply acquired Zuian's powers and left the star god to devour himself until nothing remained.
Dogma: The purest satisfaction in life is to extinguish your own in a radiant display of ravaging violence and chaos. Fear not death, for in the end, you'll at least get a good one.
((OOC Note: I based Zuian on H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu stories and mythos. Zuian was inspired by Azathoth (Hence the nickname), the Blind Idiot God from the stories. Azathoth was a blind, insane god who would play unholy music that would randomly create and destroy the universe. If he was to stop playing that music, all the universe would crash into itself and be devoured by Azathoth. Pretty cool, huh?))
