In old Lodestone stories, the name of a legend is often spoken of, a man that did things so rebelious and so epic that his name was carved into the memories and tales for thounsands of years, this case, we speak of a man who lived in the era pre ark, so much is spoken of him, and yet none of it can be proved.
The childhood of Khremûr is unknown, possibilities of what his clan was is also a hard tale to say, the story often starts as:
"Once uppon a time, a dwarf lived in the Old Kingdom of the dwarves, a great dwarf was he. He was the greatest of all warriors and greatest of all minds, but great minds often spawn great invy, so the dwarf was disliked by a great number of his own clan, including the leader.
The Dwarf was named Khremûr Thunderock, a wise compationate dwarf, that believed in the the king of the dwarves and all of his decisions, until the day the that even the King grew tired and jealous of the great feats this dwarf, suposedly inferior then he, was able to acomplish.
All of this jealousy started to invole attempts in assissanation, attempts to kill this Son of Mort'zuk (dwarven god that existed before Gorrn), these constant attacks drove Khremûr sad... knowing he was not wanted in his own home, he left and traveled south, were the old reign of the Elves existed in harmony, he there made several friends, saving their lives in hunts and bandit attacks, he would help small villages in whatever way he could, soon, Khremûr would have the be recognized as being a friend to all Elves, having a loyal group of friends that would now follow him on his adventures.
But this act was not all good, Dwarves continued to hate Khremûr, and the fact that the elves almost made him a brother drove them near insanity. New attacks were made, and Khremûr defended them... trying to find a way to be loved by his people isntead of being attacked... he lived amongst the Elves for several years.
In the meanwhile, on the dwarven homes, they dug so deap into the earth that they managed to find a demonic abyss... thounsans of demons came forth this abyss and reigned chaos in the dwarven homes... a champion known as Gorrn would be known in this batle to have slain the Demon king and seal the abyss... but that would be many years ahead.
When Khremûr heard of this war, he knew what he had to do, slay the deamons and end this demonic onslaught. With a group of trustworthy elves, he traveled back north to his people, he entered the town in attempts to save it from the war, but... when even the enemy of the enemy is attacking him, he had litle choice but to be hostile to both factions... but soon... people would notice Khremûr was trying to save them, and not gloat with his talent... thanks to his help, he pushed the deamons back into the entrance of the abyss, dwarves were now fighting by his side in glory and respect... untill the Demon King lifted from the flames of the abyss, and made an horrific batle with Khremûr and his men.
Soon, many would die... the demon was also near death as Khremûr was starting to gain an advantage... the Demon would burst his way to the surface, and run away.. hidding himself.
Khremûr knew that until he was slain, there would be no way to guarantee the end of the abyss.. he left home with his elven friends searching for him.
the trail of death that this Demon made led them to the now know Fjords of Kira, it was a hard trail to follow, taking a full year of search to actualy know his location... in the meanwhile, the war with the demons continued back on the dwarven home. Khremûr faced for the second time the demon, his elven friends helped as they could, but fate would not be in the hands of them... Khremûr was slain and fell in batle.. the Demon King had prepared a trap for him and after the dwarves death, the Demon returned to the Dwarven Kingdom to finish what he had started, the Elven companions barried Khremûr on those fjords, on several tombs, hidden from the world with many traps and foes.. and returned home telling stories of this brave and compassionate man.
Back home, the story is known, for it is written down in the church of Gorrn. Gorrn faced the Demon King several years after Khremûrs death and sent it back to the Abyss sealing it, Gorrn was pronounced a hero, a savior, and the war ended like so. But Khremûr was not forgotten, many told his tale of how brave he was to return to a place where he was not wanted, and save many lives of people that hated him, and how he gave his life trying to save the Kingdom that casted him away."
Unfortunatly, besides what is written in the church of Gorrn... this tale cannot be either proven true of false... as the Tombs of Khremûr were never found, and there are no records of his existance.
