(this is more for my character Bruenor, so I can have a list of things that are important, but some of these can be important if you wish a quick resume of what and who is important for the dwarven race, and what and who should be known by your character)
People(the dates represent the years where they were known, and not birth-death):
Lodestone----
Klose Kel'Grath 0-356 - Klose was the first king after the incident, his father died as did so much of what was important for the Lodestones.
Special Notes: reaches an incredible age of 482, nearly twice the normal lifespan of Dwarves.
Jorian Kel'grath 356-702 - When the Elves started to expand underground, Jorian protested loudly and so did the Empire, soon the dwarves would leave their past and concentrate on the surface, on the Repulsion wars that the elves were having so close to their small surface border, their protest would be heard.
Special Notes: He created a law that would forbid anyone to walk in the collapsed left by the Ark of Quain, this law still exists in the present. Reached the amazing age of 466.
Carrum Kel'grath 702-901 - Fierce leader that won the war against the elves and managed to brought unity to the shattered dwarven kingdom.
Special Notes: He brought together a nation, but died with so much left undone, died 243 years old.
Yurial Kel'Grath 901-1002 - The brother of Carrum, in charge of the defense while his brother was out to finish the war, Yurial was always a decent and kind person, but he did not wish to be the next king.
Special Notes: Believed to have been Assassinated, died 334 years old.
Kurtux Verde 1398 - Lodestone hero in the Belowground war, proud member of the Iron Forge clan and ranked one of the highest warriors of the realm. Valued General that participated and lost his life in the War of the Crystal.
Special Notes: Died at the age of 282.
Vordûr Khor'azuth, elder dwarven leader of the Iron Forge Family 1050 - 1480 - A hard headed impulsive and aggressive council leader that was chief of the largest clan in the Empire of the time.
Special Notes: Wanted Forlan dead, and gain the power of kingship for himself. Died at the extraordinary age of 495.
Nfalgar Dorthur, elder dwarven leader of the Silver Fist family 1050- 1480 - Sees this power struggle as pointless for it shall not unite the dwarven kingdom that for so long has been in this iron arm struggle. He would prefer to be the law of the cities but he shall not tolerate any attacks by his brothers in an attempt to toss him off power, and therefor destroying his clan.
Special Notes: The one who created the council, and the one who wanted the council destroyed. Died at the extraordinary age of 503.
Merganoth Alistor, elder dwarven leader of the Red Gold family 1050 - 1480 - For Merganoth, the proper way to find inlightenment, is through battle, and the more you battle, the more pure your soul gets. Merganoth does not hold many clanners, and his influence only goes as far as controlling one or two cities, but it is well possible he would murder his brothers in order to achieve power.
Special Notes: Has tried and failed at assassinating the other council elders. Died at the extraordinary age of 482.
Nozduk Korgadon, elder dwarven leader of the Doom Hammer family 1050 - 1480 An exact twin of Vordûr mentally, chief of the second greatest clan in the Empire at the time.
Special Notes: Wanted Vordûr dead, and died at the extraordinary age of 494.
Forlan Kel'Grath, Elder dwarven leader of the Shieldsar family 1050- 1480 - The son of Yurial, the last king to have worn the crown, and he has always been in hate for his brother that didn't allow him to regain the crown due to the council.
Special Notes: Wanted Nfalgar dead, as revenge for not allowing him to be king. Died at the record braking age of 580.
Mungar Stoneblade 1398 - Current - Current King of the Lodestone kingdom, and liberator of the Belowground republic, the last remaining heir of the Kel'Grath dynasty.
Special Notes: Likely known to be the current best dwarven blacksmith.
Khremûr Thunderock (pre Ark) - Ancient Legend that fought next to Gorrn in the demonic wars foretold by the god Mort'zuk, cast away by his talent and slain by a demon of great power.
Special Notes: The gear of Khremûr was found and returned to K'a Khaazk Lara in the year 1470 by a group of adventurers from Kiran, studies proved he did exist and is until today, the only piece of history that survived the Ark today.
Steelfire----
Gorganoth the Stout 0 - 5 - The oldest person to have survived the crushing and devastating blast of the Ark of Quain, in his short years of life, he named the eastern part of the old Lodestone Kingdom the Belowground republic, and proclaimed independence on his last words.

Special Notes: Would argue with the dwarven king Jorian about his decision to turn the collapsed areas into forbidden zones to adventure, and be highly upset at the fact that dwarven relics would be for ever lost there.
Died at the age of 310.
Yallen the Strong 799 - 932 - The Chief joined with Carrum and his march to drive the Elves from the dwarven lands, crippling the commerce with the elves.
Special Notes: When Carrum is known as a Lodestone Hero, Yallen is known as a Steelfire moron, he joined the war with nothing to gain and he literally caused the death of hundred of Steelfire dwarves for a cause the Belowground republic was neutral to.
Died at the age of 319.
Thuriel the Brute 1398 - Steelfire hero in the Belowground war, fierce warrior with an keen eye for battle, a smart cunning man that new that he was outnumbered and out classed in this battle. Krûll's severe life style is giving the Steelfire clan a hard time, but with success, as the Steelfires are once again in the right track for the prosperity they once knew.
