The ground trembled slightly in Bifrost as the Juggernaught, flagship of the Empire of Pherin, and by far the largest ship in the fleet, docked along the iron shore.
Within minutes of the ship's docking, riders baring the mark of the legion arrived at the gates of Bifrost. Their armor was a dark shade of blue, with streams of gleaming silver about it, and the sword crest of the legion on their chests gleamed with the same silver. They were members of the emperor's first legion, known best as the "Silver Legion," former sentinels of the Isles of Night.
The men dismounted their horses, and strode into the village of Bifrost, heading directly into the Meadhall without pause or interuption. Field Marshall Graves joined them there minutes later, and was presented with a box and a sheathed sword by one of the men. With a nod, the Field Marshall ordered his men out of the Meadhall, and out into the town.
Those outside witnessed now a large battalion of Silver Legionaries taking formation at the village's east gate. Field Marshall Graves ordered his men of the 33rd legion to gather their belongings and form up in five minutes for a march to the docks.
As the 33rd departed from Bifrost, the battalion entered the village, and took over the defenses. Marching could be heard headed towards the former Elven Ruins, now Fort Julian, followed shortly after by the men formerly stationed there being spotted heading for the dock.
The 33rd departed from Kvinne, under orders from the emperor as delivered by the Silver Legion. The loses they had taken in Kvinne were too heavy, and it was time for the legion to be retired. The soldiers of the 33rd were sent to Skyros to rest until reassigned. Field Marshall Robert Graves, Captain Jonas Sainclair, and a small number of lesser known officers were kept on the island for their knowledge of the area and situations at hand, and were promoted to officers in the Silver Legion.
