Though leaderless for some time, the wicked demonic Elves known as the Ilmnfeml have apparently crowned a new leader of their dark race.
It began with the night drifting in a strange color. A sickening green mist in the air, and clouds which covered the entire sky, letting no natural light shine down. Hundreds, even near a thousand winged Ilmnfeml burst off the roof tops of the city of New Pherin, taking to the sky. The presence of their evil had tainted even the air and sky that eve. They circled New Pherin for only a short bit, for what purpose, none are too sure. They then took their flight to the ruins of Kiran to the west, and circled them in much the same way, though chanting in the dark tongue of Genmarl this time.
Members of the Pheric military who witnessed up close what happened from this point report an Ilmnfeml sacrificing his body as a shell for an Ilmnfeml of great power. As the shell took the shape of its new master, it apparently bore resemblance to the former Gravekeeper of Kiran, Milmamir. After slaying one of his summoners, Milmamir ordered the many Ilmnfeml all around Kiran to depart, stating they had "work to do." Only one Ilmnfeml stayed behind to slay the witnesses for having had an Elf or two amongst them. It was a failed endeavor, though the fate of the Ilmnfeml remains unknown.
Veluan has been contacted to decipher the chant that was in use. More will be revealed when more is known. For now, rest assured that the situation can be controlled, citizens of Pherin.
