The Aermane Bloodline (Legitmate children only)
Namor Aermane - ?
- Originally named Namor Aseph, Namor started the Aermane family name upon changing his own name. He still used the name Namor Aseph, however, during his underworld and black market dealings, apparently having himself been a notorious crimelord ever since around 1280 D.R. It is reported that he was slain in 1326, outside of the city of Athkatla, where he was in the form of a werewolf. In the near two centuries since, the name Namor Aseph has popped up all along the Sword Coast, Moonsea, the savage north, Cormyr, and the Dalelands. Crimes associated with this name range from murder, to drug smuggling, racketeering, and banditry. Most recently, in the past fifty years, this name has made its mark across Pherin and Krystinaw in Fenmyr. It's also reported that Namor Aseph has since been killed seventeen times, and twelve of which he was burnt. For this reason, none are entirely sure just who or what Namor Aseph is.
Zachardo Aermane - 1326 - ?
- The first Aermane by birth, Zachardo was raised in Athkatla by only his mother, who died when the boy was eight years of age. He went on to become a small-time thief for the sake of surviving on his own, and later was forced to serve the Shadow Thieves as an assassin. Zachardo vanished for a year after the murder of his fiance and two powerful members of the Shadow Thieves. He resurfaced in Cormyr as a member of the military, though soon vanished from there as well. He was last recorded in the savage north of Faerun, where he vanished in 1358 D.R., during the time of troubles. Rumors came about many years later of his reappearance, though none know fort certain of Zachardo's fate. He is believed to have unknowingly had numerous heirs to the Aermane name during his travels prior to vanishing.
Adrian Aermane - 1344 - 1367
- Son of Zachardo Aermane and a half-elf bardess, Adrian lived a very short life. He left home at the age of fourteen, upon the discovery that he was born with lycanthropy. He joined a pack of werewolves in Cormyr, where he mated with a fellow pack member, of which Roman Aermane was the product. Both, along with other pack members, were slain in 1367.
Roman Aermane - 1360 - ?
- Taught to hunt from an early age, Roman was a prodigy amongst hunters. Though at the age of seven, he watched as his mother, father, and friends were slain by undead. He himself was nearly killed, only being saved by his own natural lycanthropy transforming him just as a blade pierced through his back and out his chest. For several years following this, Roman was subject to tests and torture at the hands of a necromancer, who'se motives were never clear to him. He escaped his prison in 1372, fleeing to Sanzual, the capital of Cormyr. Here he learned the way of Malar, and at the age of twenty, became a bandit while still serving Malar. Over the years that followed, Roman stopped his banditry, instead becomnig a Huntmaster of Malar and establishing a massive shrine in the Moonsea. He also married Shalee Aermane, and had two children, Aaralyn and Aaron. Roman also became known for his business practices, which were often less than legal. In 1400, Shalee and Aaralyn were killed, leaving Roman to raise Aaron, and to also suffer quietly for eternity, having sought and received immortality in response to his wife's supposed relative immortality for having dragon's blood. Whatever became of Roman Aermane is anyone's guess.
Aaron Aermane - 1392 - 1426
- Aaron left his father's tutilage in 1406 and traveled to the north to spread the church of Malar there. He was successful in doing so, however, it was no easy task. He earned himself many enemies, and had only one child with a fellow Malarite. His list of enemies eventually lead to his death in 1426, when he and a group of seven Malarites were ambushed during the seasonal high hunt by a massive coallition of local rangers and druids. The battle lasted for six hours, the Malarites proving their prowess before death.
Dorian Aermane - 1418 - 1454
- The only son of Aaron Aermane, Dorian was nearly the end of the only legitmate line of Aermane blood. An assassination attempt was made on him in 1427, only months following his father's death. He had however inheritted the family gift, lycanthropy, which allowed him to fight off and kill his attacker despite his young age. Dorian went on to live a life in hiding, ensuring the bloodline didn't end with him. At the age of eighteen, he fled to the Moonsea, and entered the portal to Fenmyr. Without any enemies, Dorian went on to travel Fenmyr, finally settling down in Krystinaw. He fought his lycanthropic urges, and discontinued the family worship of Malar. He didn't much take to combat. He kept his business strictly with the local black market and underworld contacts, and only died at the age of 36 due to a plague in Krystinaw.
Arcturus Aermane - 1438 - 1457
- Arcturus, like his father, took to black market trade rather than combat as past generations of Aermane's tended to. He was afflicted with the same plague that killed his father three years prior in 1457, and sent his new wife to Pherin to avoid her contracting the sickness. Arcturus died within days of her departure.
Darius Aermane - 1457 - 1492
- Darius was born in the city of Azan after the death of his father to the Krystinaw plague some months prior. He was trained in the art of the blade at an early age, and taken into the Azan Mob as an enforcer. Ruthless and efficient, Darius returned fear to the Aermane name after the previous two generations that had tarnished it so in that respect. Darius had three children by the age of twenty. Roran, Julian, and Adrianna. All three followed his footsteps as they grew up. But it was with his fourth child, Cassius, whom Darius had at the age of 21, that he made sure did not follow his footsteps exactly. He taught Cassius an important art that he himself had unfortunately not taken to. One that might have saved his life, or that of his other children. The art of negotiation. Darius was assassinated in 1492 by the Azan Mob over a fairly minor dissagreement with one of its leading members.
